St. Odilia Kindergarten - 2nd grade introduces students to a supportive, caring, and Christ-centered learning environment. We nurture our young learners as they develop curiosity for their world. We focus on Jesus as an example for decision-making and building community.
Primary students receive instruction in Mathematics, Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, Art, Physical Education, Library, Technology, STEM, and Music. Technology used in the classroom includes iPads, laptops, and interactive Smartboard activities. All students in 2nd grade prepare for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion and have tech opportunity to receive them within the parish.
Overall, grades K-2 offer challenges and practices for students of all learning levels. We introduce social-emotional learning, foundational learning skills, and a growth mindset through a well-rounded curriculum supported by an engaged staff who understands each learners needs. Students learn more about their faith and Jesus in daily religion classes and community prayer, weekly all-school masses, and service projects.
