Our classrooms are designed to engage young minds, meet their sensory needs, and offer practice with academic content through play.
With thoughtfully designed learning centers in the classrooms, our preschool children flow from one activity to the next with a sense of purpose and pride in their imaginative creations and designs.
All of our teachers have an education degree, most holding a master’s in early childhood education as well.
Our preschool has its own playground! Being outside is valued at St. Odilia Preschool. Children hike the entire campus to explore the natural surroundings while the preschool playground promotes physical development.
The space offers opportunities for running, jumping, climbing, biking, digging and gardening. Natural elements help children engage in sustained imaginative play too because rocks, logs and sticks can be many things!
Physical development is just as important as cognitive development. The movement room is a special place for movement and spatial awareness development.
Balance equipment, dancing ribbons, tumbling mats, large foam blocks, pool noodles, carpet squares, comet balls, and more allow for fun and games each week.
Students are developing their core strength to development their large muscle system which allows them to control their little finger muscles!
